Join us in the Easter school holidays for lots of fun in Sheffield Botanical Gardens! A 'drop off' group for children 5 - 12 years who want to have fun, learn and explore in nature, with guided nature based activities, crafts and play opportunities. GO WILD will encourage your child's develop …morement and interests following the 'forest school' ethos of child-led learning. We will explore what’s wild in the gardens! Looking at wildlife and the environment, improving habitats for nature, use tools for wood work and bushcrafts, set up nature surveys and learning about ecology, make nature connections, take time for our wild wellbeing and help SBG gardeners - to name a few. Children need to bring a packed lunch and drink for the day. A morning and afternoon vegan snack and drink will be provided. Covered shoes and season appropriate old clothes should be worn. Waiting list for children aged 5-12 years wanting to attend GO WILD at Easter, for either Weds 9th or Thurs 10th April. If a space becomes available you will be contacted and asked if you would like the space. Spaces may become available up to the morning of Weds 9th and Thurs 10th April.
