Join us in the Summer school holidays for lots of fun in Metapic Woods! A 'drop off' group for children 5 - 12 years who want to have fun, learn and explore in nature, with guided nature based activities, crafts and play opportunities. FOREST FOLK will encourage your child's development and i …morenterests following the 'forest school' ethos of child-led learning. We will explore what’s wild in the woods! Looking at wildlife and the environment, improving habitats for nature, use tools for wood work and bushcrafts, set up nature surveys and learn about ecology, make nature connections, take time for our wild wellbeing, swing in hammocks, pond and river dip, forage, build dens, learn to light a fire and cook on a campfire, cross slack lines - just to name a few. Children need to bring a packed lunch and drink for the day. A morning and afternoon vegan snack and drink will be provided. Covered shoes and season appropriate old clothes should be worn. Spare clothes can be brought along. less

Looking at natural science, wildlife and the environment, design and technology in nature, material science and wood work, bushcrafts and art and maths in nature.
