Join us in the Easter school holidays for lots of fun in Sheffield Botanical Gardens! A 'drop off' group for children 5 - 12 years who want to have fun, learn and explore in nature, with guided nature based activities, crafts and play opportunities. GO WILD will encourage your child's development and interests following the 'forest school' ethos of child-led learning. We will explore what’s wild in the gardens! Looking at wildlife and the environment, improving habitats for nature, use tools for wood work and bushcrafts, set up nature surveys and learning about ecology, make nature connections, take time for our wild wellbeing and help SBG gardeners - to name a few. Children need to bring a packed lunch and drink for the day. A morning and afternoon vegan snack and drink will be provided. Covered shoes and season appropriate old clothes should be worn. Spare clothes can be brought along.
