NEW for 2026! Join us in the Summer school holidays for lots of fun in Ecclesall Woods! A 'drop off' group for children 5 - 12 years who want to have fun, learn and explore in nature, with guided STEM based activities, crafts and play opportunities. STEM in the WOODS will encourage your child's development and interests following the 'forest school' ethos of child-led learning. We will explore the woods and link it into science, technology, engineering, art and maths! Looking at natural science, wildlife and the environment, design and technology in nature, material science and wood work, bushcrafts and art and maths in nature. There will be time for play and to build dens, learn to light a fire and cook on a campfire - just to name a few. Children need to bring a packed lunch and drink for the day. A morning and afternoon vegan snack and drink will be provided. Covered shoes and season appropriate old clothes should be worn. Spare clothes can be brought along.
